Working in conjunction with the Tour of Missouri, which is a world-class cycling event, we are proud to announce our exhibition “Spoked”. We sought out bicycle themed artworks from some of the area’s most talented and respected artists for inclusion in our show. Our gallery is on the race route and we have special hours and events planned that are sure to draw a crowd. The eyes of the world will be looking our way and we’re gearing up for the liveliest show this town has seen. Get stoked about Spoked!

Das, Nikki, Patrick Andrew Adams, Quenton Colby, Rena Hasse, Rosie Phillips, Sam Mills, Sarah Ansell, Scott Ernst, Stephen Pollihan, Steve Truesdell, Sukanya Mani, Thomas DeClue, Thomas Hoyt, Tim Bottchen, Tim Eisenhoffer, Tony DiMattia, William C Hutton Jr., also included; S.A.M.'s 15 residential artists in a diversity of media.

Exhibit Jurors:

Garrett Roberts is a self‐taught photographer who enjoys experimenting with toy cameras, antique lenses and alternative processes to achieve interesting and unusual effects. His award winning photographs have been exhibited in numerous art fairs and galleries in St. Louis and New York City.

Jane Linders is an award-winning photographer whose prints are in numerous national and international collections. Many of her photos are published in Michael Kilfoy's coffee table photo book, "St. Louis Seen and Unseen" She is a tireless image-maker devoted to her craft.

Dan Jaboor has won awards in numerous local and national competitions for works in a variety of mediums. His artistic vision has been described as “innovative, yet with a surprising flair for the unexpected”. Additionally, Dan is the author of the blog "Artistic Mission" which is rated as one of the top 20 art related blogs in the world by Alltop.com.

Soulard Art Market & Contemporary Gallery

The Soulard Art Market & Contemporary Gallery (S.A.M.) features monthly exhibitions in our main gallery,that showcase a rotating selection of the area’s most talented artists. Exhibitions and events are free and open to the public, (unless otherwise noted) and most artwork is offered for sale. The gallery is operated by a core group of fifteen resident artists who each maintain a personal display space. We are home to some of the area’s most respected artists working in a variety of media including: drawing, painting, digital and traditional photography, mixed media, sculpture and jewelry. Located in the heart of Soulard on the corner of 12th and Russell, Soulard Art Market is a fantastic arts destination.

In partnership with the gallery is Youth Education and Health in Soulard. YEHS is a nonprofit community‐based organization that was founded in 1972 to develop needed services in order to save the historic Soulard neighborhood from being torn down and to prevent the displacement of low and moderate income residents of the area. YEHS also hosts summer employment/training,

tutoring, and recreation for disadvantaged St. Louis youths.
