JAMAA, Swahili for family, recognizes the importance placed on community in African American culture. While many of us are used to celebrating Black history month in February, the goal of our show is to focus on what's happening now. JAMAA will feature works from the aeara's most talented artists in an effort to showcase this entegral part of our city's diverse community.
